"User Already Logged On"
When your screen freezes while completing a lesson or If your work is not being saved
This is a fairly common error that can cause many different issues, just follow this link for instructions to resolve the problem.
Connection Timeouts
While you are working in a lesson, your computer does not communicate with the server until you are finished with the lesson. Some service providers (including AOL) will disconnect you after a certain period of inactivity. If you are not connected when you exit the lesson, you will get an error and will lose the work you did during that session.
To make sure this doesn't happen, you can either make sure the connection stays open by switching to another window and creating activity (such as reloading a web page), or you can check to make sure you are connected before you exit the lesson. If you are disconnected, simply reconnect to your service provider before exiting your lesson, and your data will be saved.
MA Errors
If you are getting an MA_ERROR message, there are two common possibilities. 1) You may have a dirty or scratched CD, or a dirty CD drive. Please clean your CD and drive and try again. If your CD is scratched beyond repair, you may trade for a new CD at the Help Desk in the ICC on campus. 2) You may not have logged out of the system correctly in your previous session. Please see the directions for CD Errors and logging out correctly.
