Associate of Applied Science (AAS)

Students enrolled in Highline’s Graphic Production Program may earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a Certificate of Completion. Both the degree and certificate options require students to take courses in technical training, general education, and interpersonal skills.

This is a hands-on program with limited enrollment. Interested students are encouraged to call 206-878-3710, extension 3223 to discuss enrollment and/or visit Highline for a tour of the facility.

The technical training allows students to leave the program with a foundation built on employable skill levels developed through the production-oriented curriculum. The first year is spent building a foundation that encompasses the entire printing process. Due to the rapid changes in technology and the complexity of the print market, second year students are given the opportunity for additional specialization in one or more facets of the printing process.
